Kane & Lynch Movie To Star.....
Jamie Foxx. Somebody please kill me now.
Great my Monday has now gone completely to hell!! Thx you who ever came up with this stupid idea!!
I know as far as the history of games to movies go there has not been a lot of promise but really at least a few got the characters right. If you still have no idea what I am going on about here's the report:
Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx will be tacking on the role of James Lynch in the upcoming screen adaptation of IO Interactive’s Kane & Lynch. According to Shacknews, the casting tidbit was revealed on Twitter by Kyle Ward, the film’s screenwriter, in a post that said simply, “Done deal … Jamie Foxx is in.” Bruce Willis is playing the part of Adam “Kane” Marcus in the movie.
Foxx may not have been the most obvious casting choice, but he’ll likely get the attention of moviegoers who might not otherwise be interested in the movie. What do you think? Does it make sense to expand casting for the movie beyond lookalikes? Do you think Kane & Lynch’s story lends itself to a film in the first place?

Columbia Pictures has brought online the teaser trailer for Adam McKay's action comedy The Other Guys, starring Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Eva Mendes, Michael Keaton, Steve Coogan, Ray Stevenson, Samuel L. Jackson and Dwayne Johnson.
Opening on August 6, The Other Guys follows Detective Allen Gamble (Ferrell), a forensic accountant who's more interested in paperwork than hitting the streets, and Detective Terry Hoitz (Wahlberg), who has been stuck with Allen as his partner ever since an embarrassing public incident with his quick trigger finger. Allen and Terry idolize the city's top cops, Danson and Manzetti (Johnson and Jackson), but when an opportunity arises for the Other Guys to step up, things don't quite go as planned.
